Patient Information

Your first visit.

Did you know the American Association of Orthodontists recommends children complete their first check-up with an Orthodontist by age 7?

Your first visit to our office will begin with a warm welcome from our Treatment Coordinator, Heather. She will start by gathering orthodontic records including photographs, a digital scan of your teeth and x-rays. Dr. Brown will then review the records and provide a thorough examination to propose and discuss potential treatment options.

This important 60-minute visit is complementary and will give you insight into your orthodontic needs. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have!

Observation Visits

Not every child needs orthodontic treatment right away. Sometimes the best approach is to monitor growth and development so treatment can begin at the most optimal time. These appointments are quick check-ins to ensure everything is on pace with our expectations.

Observation appointments give families helpful information and peace of mind. They allow time to plan finances, prevent future complex treatment, and offer comfort to your child during a short, relaxed appointment with fun incentive raffle prizes. During these visits, we monitor things parents may not notice at home, such as: baby teeth not falling out on schedule, changes in jaw growth and bite development, or early signs of crowding or spacing. These simple check-ins allow us to stay proactive and preventative, helping your child receive treatment at the best possible time for a healthy, confident smile.
